Bitcoin Design Update #22
This is a big one! Version 2 of the design guide is ready!
Lightning makes it possible to scale bitcoin to billions of users, which is right in line with the community tagline of “Design bitcoin for everyone”. The technology has quickly progressed, and as it is maturing, the design guide will be a helpful resource for product builders across the ecosystem.
Join us today on the community call to celebrate and chat about what’s new in the guide. We look forward to seeing you!
Now on to our usual update.
In the next call for the Wallet Design Improvement Project (Feb 14), we will start a design sprint for Blixt. In the previous call, we talked to Hampus, the creator of the project and learned about his motivations and goals.
Pavlenex, Johns, and Conor will represent the community at the Lightning Hackday in Istanbul on Feb 25-27. Feel free to join.
If you’re in NY on Feb 23, stop by at BitDevs NYC to hear Patricia and Stephen talk about bitcoin design.
A new #sustainability channel has been created in order to visualise some bitcoin mining and sustainability concepts.
