In the latest community call, Erik shared his plans for working on Ecash via his grant from the Bitcoin Design Foundation.
We also discussed the BTC Prague hack day for which we are organizing a design track. Come help organize and let us know if you’d like to speak.
Global Accessibility Awareness day is coming up. We’ll have a kick-off call and spend the day testing and improving accessibility on various bitcoin, lightning, Ecash, and Nostr projects.
We had a research call about PIX and Paulo’s research, and another about how the Bolt.Fun crew used the UX research toolkit.

Summer of Bitcoin project proposals are live. The community is mentoring 3 projects around Border Wallets, a Bitcoin UI Gallery, and the state of Lightning UX.
We have a call tomorrow with the Bitcoin Layers project, which does security reviews of Layer 2s.
The second grant of the Bitcoin Design Foundation goes to Chris for his continued work on the Bitcoin UI Kit. More here.
The next halving will be on April 19/20 (countdowns one and two), when bitcoin inflation will be cut in half. Will you attend a party, like this one in Warsaw?
