Daniel has written a nice piece on how to build a bitcoin wallet with Swift. He is currently working on getting LDK set up and interacting with the BDK wallet.
The Bech32m initiative is still running strong, Dan Gould has added input on the meta description.
We ran a survey on the UX Research toolkit. Art created a survey and presented the results of the survey here. Some excellent feedback on what to iterate on to improve the current version.
Join on February 13 to chat with the Simple Crypto team about the UX of their app, which educates newcomers about bitcoin.
Bitcoin design guide 🗺️
Milestone #18 issues are progressing with many detailed discussion.
What is a good interaction model for tipping sats on social media? This design discussion has come up previously around bolt.fun (click the flame) and now again with Nostr (see this Damus issue). Should this topic be added to the guide?
Similarly, Nostr accounts are managed via private keys, which can also be derived from a recovery phrase (see here). Best practices described in key management pages in the guide may be applicable here as well.
We added pages for the newsletter and social media accounts to the website. This is with the intention to welcome open participation in managing these where everyone is open to chip in and share news.
